The Independent Curriculum provides freedom or “Freedom to Learn” in the implementation of learning, namely the school, both teachers and principals, in compiling, carrying out the learning process and developing the curriculum according to the potential and needs of their students. Through the Merdeka Curriculum, it is hoped that it will be able to provide meaningful learning to students through various learning activities to improve the quality of education which was less effective during the pandemic. The implementation of the independent curriculum cannot be separated from the CP, TP, ATP, and P5 modules. The Project Module for Strengthening Pancasila Student Profiles or the P5 module is learning material that students can learn independently as a strengthening of Pancasila student profiles. The criteria that must be owned by a teaching module are essential, interesting, meaningful, and challenging, relevant and contextual, and sustainable. In the 21st century, skills and abilities are needed that must be possessed by humans. Currently 4C skills need to be developed into 6C. The 6C skills that must be mastered by students in 21st century education are critical thinking and problem solving, communication, collaboration, creativity and innovation, character education, and citizenship.
